The Husband Store

Today I had a great discussion with Mr. Kim during our 1 hour class. We used the story, "The Husband Store". It's a fiction that talks about a husband store in New York. Women who are searching for husbands would go and shop inside the store. Every floor has a different displays, and as you go up the attributes or characteristics of the men would increase. For example, on the first floor you would fine this characteristics, " Men who loves kids and love the Lord." Each floor that you visit there is an additional attribute until you reach to the 6th floor, which is the last. As we continued the discussion, I noticed that the displays in the first floor are already perfect, but I was curious of what is in the next floor. So I didn't settle for the men who love kids and love the Lord. Now, the woman who was shopping in the story didn't stop in the fifth floor but on the sixth floor. Guess what? There are no husband displays in the last floor. It just displays the number of visitors that reached to the top and there is no way of going back to choose for a husband in the previous floors. The ending of the story proves how hard it is to please women and they'll end up with nothing. Well, the story doesn't only apply to all the women who are choosy. Isn't it that it that insatiability is a human nature? Therefore we couldn't blame women for being so picky and taking chances that something better is coming. I could have fun going on all the floors just "window shopping", since I am not planning to buy one. I would just love to check what are the features and if there are some benefits. We can't really see the benefits if we are only going to look for the features. Therefore the only way to know it is to try. This is life, everything is uncertain and we need to take a risk. We don't have to worry that the store will run out of stocks since there are many options in life, we can go somewhere and perhaps the offer would be good with some discounts! hahaha It was just funny since the student put me in the situation where I had to shop for a husband...and honestly I was suprised. I didn't imagine myself going into that store and buying a husband, well if credit cards would be accepted then perhaps I'll get one, payable for 1 year and with return and exchange warrantly.

My Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day!!!
Happy Hearts Day everyone...
whew.. I was almost late!
I rushed to i2 and pressed the elevator button and poop... I was on the 6th floor!
Tried to press the biometrics, "finger scanning" device, but for more than 3 tries it didn't recognize my finger prints...then I thought, " I wish I woke up an hour earlier today."
Then after my work, I rushed to SM Department store to buy some tokens for Mel and Emma since they are leaving for Korea at 10PM. I couldn't decide what to buy, I scanned through books, cds, teddy bears, pens, cards, magazines, t-shirts and etc. But unfortunately I didn't have enough money in my pocket and I didn't bring my savior my cc... so I ended up buying those little key chains Cebu City printed on them. I was glad they were happy to have them.
Emma bought some ramyun for me, she knows I love Korean food. Gave a collection of Korean Love songs and wished that next Valentines we will meet in Korea.
I will miss this sweet and optimistic lady.
Now while waiting for my class, I feel so sleepy and decided to write something to help me stay awake... and it worked. Thanks for creating this program!

My First Day with eTelecare

Yesterday, Feb. 11, 2008 was my first day here in eTelecare.
It's so absurd since I still got my 2 jobs and still haven't ended my terms with them.
I feel sorry and I don't know what will happen next.
The future is so uncertain. I feel like I'm here yet I'm not.
My training went well, everyone from the company seems to be too accommodating...
