"I can", is very powerful. If I say it that means I can do it and I must do it. Great motivational writers always emphasize that everything lies in our hands.
Yes, they could be sometimes. We CAN always choose how what we want things to be. But our choices don't always lead us to the direction of our dreams. I give myself the privilege to choose "I can't".
I don't want to promise anything which I know I am not capable of doing. I may be optimistic sometimes and always see good things in every situation but I still have the pessimist side. I understand people's feelings, but sometimes they made me confuse.
It's stressful to always make people expect something, I just don't want to disappoint anyone.
"If others can do it then why can't I?" A good motivation for us to strive harder right? We may be able to do things other people can, but for me I don't think it's right. WHY? well my answer is that, we are created with different talents and skills so there's no reason why we have to try to do things which others are good at. If everyone can do exactly what others can then the world would be boring. Besides, aren't we created in a unique way?
Why is it that there's only one Michael Jordan or one Tiger Woods? NO matter how we practice, we can't be like them because they are created in a very unique way. We may excel in other field, or in the same field but we won't have the same level as they do.
I don't want to be like them or do things they do. I just want to be me. Happy in my own little ways...
