On the way to Siquijor Island

Amazing! this is the best word that I could say about our trip to Siquijor Island last May 19-20, 2007. We took the land trip on the way to Siquijor via Bato Oslob, the southern part of Cebu Island. We were sleepless but we had fun since the scenes are so beautiful that we couldn't think of closing our eyes just for a minute. Then when we arrived at the port of Bato Oslob, the boat wasn't there yet, so we needed to wait for almost an hour. While waiting, I took some pictures of the great view. When we arrived at dumaguete, we still had to ride a tricycle to get to the port going to Siquijor Island. When we were on the boat for Siquijor, I was so hungry that Robert and I decided to go out. The problem is the exit is very far from where we were, and if we were to take that exit it would take us longer time to be back and it was so hot to walk that far. So, I asked the guard on duty if it's possible to climb over the gate which is just in front of the boat we were boarding. Then the guard agreed so we climbed up then went directly to the stall where we bought some boiled eggs, toasted bread and a bottle of water. It felt great to have something to eat at last. The ladies who were selling were so confused that they don't know how much they will give us for our change. I was a bit irritated since I was aware that the boat would leave any minute so I just told her to give me 10.00 just be to done with it. Now, the funny thing is, we only had few minutes to be back on the boat, so again, I climbed back over the gate and then another guard approached and shouted that I should go down. I was already over the fence so I decided that I would go down but I must be on the other side so i wont be taking the long entrance. It was stupid thing to do, but I was confident that the guard on duty gave his permission. The other guard was really mad and he kept on talking and I just explained that his fellow guard allowed me to do that. I left him and went on the boat. After eating, I immediately fell asleep and I was sad since I missed great things when I was asleep... to be continued
