By the time the Lord made woman,
He was into his sixth day of working overtime.
An angel appeared and said,
"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"
And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her?
She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,
have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable
and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,
have a lap that can hold four children at one time,
have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart
-and she will do everything
with only two hands."
The angel was astounded at the requirements.
"Only two hands!? No way!
And that's just on the standard model?
That's too much work for one day.
Wait until tomorrow to finish."
But I won't," the Lord protested.
"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.
She already heals herself when she is sick
AND can work 18 hour days."
The angel moved closer and touched the woman.
"But you have made her so soft, Lord."
"She is soft," the Lord agreed,
"but I have also made her tough.
You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."
"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.
The Lord replied,
"Not only will she be able to think,
she will be able to reason and negotiate."
The angel then noticed something,
and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.
"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.
I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."
"That's not a leak,"
the Lord corrected,
"that's a tear!"
"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.
The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy,
her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love,
her loneliness, her grief and her pride."
The angel was impressed.
"You are a genius, Lord.
You thought of everything!
Woman is truly amazing."
And she is!
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness,
love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY SOMETIMES FORGET THEIR WORTH.
This blog is about all the beautiful things around me and things I am grateful for every day. Some entries are my personal stories, positive experiences in life, Bible verses, excerpts from books, movies, songs, inspirational videos, articles, essays, a voice within, TV shows, places and people I love, and my BIG dreams. My blog entries will include anything under the bright sun, the shimmering moon, and the sparkling stars! I hope I can inspire you in my little way. Please leave a comment! -AR

One Flaw In Women
7 Reasons NOT to Mess with Children
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."
After explaining the commandment to "honour" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"
Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill."
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead."
A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face."
"Yes," the class said.
"Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"
A little fellow shouted,
"Cause your feet ain't empty."
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
"Take only ONE . God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

Anyeong Haseyo "Song Shin Nim?"* ( Hello Teacher )
I left teaching job due to some circumstances.
Today, I was thinking of a good title for this new blog. I don't know if the title fits well, I just wanted to express that I'm excited to go back to teaching job. Today is my first day as an ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructor at Sam-SungMulti English Academy. I and Jerry, my officemate, started applying last Saturday, June 23, 2007. We had a hard time locating the place. When we submitted our CV we were interviewed directly and took the exam. I was so sleepy while taking the exam since I still had my job the previous night and had my MA class on Saturday. The result was good so the academic coordinator scheduled us for a teaching demonstration on Monday, June 25, 2007. There were so many applicants. Some were nervous for the interview and others were just quiet. I felt sad since I realized that there are lots of people who are jobless. I was thinking not to go on with my application so others could take the opportunity since I'm just applying for a part time job. But then I also need extra income. Well, the process was fair enough for everyone. I was surprised that my "student" in my teaching demonstration is one of the administrators in the academy. After the demonstration we had an interview with Mrs. Emeline Wang, the academic coordinator. Then she told us to be back the next day, (Tuesday) for the final interview with the Administrative Manager, Mr. Wang. I thought he didn't like my previous teaching experiences with the two previous Korean institutions since they were for a few months. Lastly, Mrs. Wang called me and gave the contract. I'm really thankful that they gave me the opportunity to be a teacher again. I'm happy and so excited.
A new beginning...
*Song Shin Nim- i don't know if this is the exact Korean word for teacher... i'll do my research and I'll update..

There's a Rainbow After the Rain

Just like the song "rainbow" by Southboarder, there's nothing sure in this world. Right, I remember my telemarketing experience when I was selling Real Estates in Dubai to businessmen in UK. I had a phone conversation with a client and he seemed to be interested for he listened to my pitch, Then, I told him, "Mr. Smith* I can assure you that you will surely have your ROI (return of investment) as early as 3 months". "You don't have to go to Dubai and do business, you can just stay in London and I'm sure that your property in Dubai will earn some profit." Mr. Smith said, "Okay, I understand that Dubai is a great place to do business and you mentioned that it's a tax free city, but I don't think that there's an assurance that I would earn, since there's nothing sure in this world except taxes and death, don't you agree with me?" "I wonder if you know how risky it would be to invest in property market and in a place where I have never been to." "You can never convince me by assuring that I can have my ROI in 3 months." He told me many things about how he do business. He wasn't interested with our product but when I hang up I didn't feel bad. It was a realization that I can never give assurance to people just for me to make a sale. Mr Smith was right, I can never be sure of anything in this world except death and taxes.
In life we'll never know what lies ahead. There are many unanswered questions and for some, even if they have answers still we can never understand them. Like a passenger who is confused of which road to take; the short cut which is dull and boring or the long way which has some flowers, butterflies and bird singing. For me, I'd rather take the long way and enjoy my journey for it is a wonderful world and I don't know if I'm going to pass this way again.
Whatever pains we have right now, think that these things shall pass and as long we have the rivers, oceans, lakes and the sun still shines we'll have rains and "there's always a rainbow after the rain". Keep on smiling and never stop believing that something great is going to happen. Take time to enjoy in everything we do!

A Song for My Late FATHER
Do you get along with the others around?
It's got to be better than before
You don't need to worry now you're gone "
Although this song is for moms, I would just like to dedicate this to my late father. Belated HAPPY FATHERS' DAY! I LOVE YOU PA! you're always be my angel...
I agree that nothing lasts forever. Sometimes we believe that there's such a thing that would last forever. Stories always come to an end. Good thing that we have a very powerful mind, The Last Frontier, it selects the best things that we should remember, so we have wonderful moments that we could say that would last forever. Life is about loving and letting go...thank you pa.
(I'll be proud to be like you)

A Call Center Agent's Pleas
Working in a call center is a very challenging job, specially when you're being assigned in hard selling. (outbound campaigns). The following pleas are my own thoughts as I have been in the industry for more than a year. These could be for the employers as well as for the prospects who answer every call.
* Give us more training for a specific campaign.
* Make us feel relax before calling.
* Understand that we don't have the power to change people's decisions or plans.
* Know that even we are tough we still get hurt.
* Believe that we are aiming to reach at the top.
* We have to believe what we say or do.
* We are happy when you say you don't want instead of just hung up.
* A simple "thank you" really means a lot.
* We need some words of encouragement and your trust.
* We hate to bother you but we must.
* A few minutes is all we ask.
* Open communications between the management and staff.
* Don't just ask why things don't happen the way you like.
* Don't make excuses, like meetings or vacation, since we know you're there and doesn't want to spare your precious time with us.
...to be continued....

My Own "Foreign" Language
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Journey
In life we always have dreams, dreams that we don't know if they'll be realized or not. We continue to move forward and and in spite of the uncertainties we believe that somewhere at the end we'll find our biggest star.
I love this song... full of hope. May this song inspires everyone and may people live believing that dreams can happen if we'll only believe it with all our hearts and trusting in God for everything that we do.
Thanks for mhcaillesrn, of youtube for uploading this song!

A Story of Cookies

Angelita H. CuevasHow many of us thought that our "cookies" are taken by someone, only to find out that we are the ones taking their "cookies" from them? Sometimes we become easily with something without knowing what's the real story. We judge things immediately based on what we believe is right, and what we consider right may not be true to everyone else. So, before saying anything, or doing anything "right" think...think and think what will happen after you'll say or do it? Will someone be happy or will he be hurt? don't think twice...think a thousand time, for, " verbal wound is as bad as physical wound."
7 Rules from God for 2007
1. Wake Up !!
Decide to have a good day.
"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24
2. Dress Up !! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart."
I Samuel 16:7
3. Shut Up!!
Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3
4. Stand Up!!...
For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10
5. Look Up !!...
To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
6. Reach Up !!...
For something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path."
Proverbs 3:5-6
7. Lift Up !!...
Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything;
Instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
Philippians 4:6
Instant
At least I don't have to cook or I don't have to go to restaurants and have my breakfast...
Being away from home and living on my own, I learned to live with instant food...
It so easy to prepare...just add some hot water and in a few minutes, breakfast is ready instantly!

Run for P.E.A.C.E.
A run for a cause, organized by Philippine National Police (PNP). It was held last Sunday, June 10th, 2007 at 6:00AM. Supposed to be it should be at 5:00AM. It seemed to me that the organizer didn't have good preparation for the event. Imagine, we ( Tony, Neriz and I) there before 5am and it took us more than an hour just to get our number! there are hundreds of people who joined the event and they already assigned number to each participant. So what happened was that, when we asked for our number, it took them like 20-20 minutes to find our printed number. I really didn't like the idea of us falling in line waiting for eternity just to register. So I told the policemen assigned on the table that it would be better if they would just get our form, write whatever number is available and arranged them in their after the event. Good thing they were open-minded and they just distributed the numbers to us even if we didn't get our original number. The registration was a mess. The place was so crowded that for minute I regretted why I ever registered to be part of that event. But thinking about the real purpose of that it made me realized that I'm still lucky that I'm healthy and very much capable of running. When we were running, I couldn't run fast, I easily felt tired. Well, I didn't run for quite some time so my knees turned weak. We didn't win the race, but we were not also the last. It was fun to be running along the road where we could see ships, boats and ferries few meters away. The South Reclamation Road is located along the sea going to Cebu City port so it's a great view. After the run we had a breakfast at Chowking in Lahug branch. We met Leaf at Neo Neo. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, specially the manager...
P.E.A.C.E stands for:
P- Planting a church
E- Equipping Servant Leaders
A- Assisting the poor
C- Caring for the sick
E- Educating the next generation
"Making a Baby"
The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate
father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr.
Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, "Well, I'm off now. The man should
be here soon."
Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer
happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. "Good morning, Ma'am",
he said, "I've come to..."
"Oh, no need to explain," Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, "I've been
expecting you."
"Have you really?" said the photographer. "Well, that's good. Did you know
babies are my specialty?"
"Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a
seat".
After a moment she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?"
"Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the couch,
and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room floor is fun.
You can really spread out there."
"Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and me!"
"Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we try
several different positions and I shoot from six or seven angles, I'm sure
you'll be pleased with the results."
"My, that's a lot!", gasped Mrs. Smith.
"Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be In and
out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that."
"Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly.
The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his baby
pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said.
"Oh, my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.
"And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their
mother was so difficult to work with."
"She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith.
"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the job
done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good
look"
"Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.
"Yes", the photographer replied. "And for more than three hours, too. The
mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate,
and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the
squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in."
Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your,
uh...equipment? "
"It's true, Ma'am, yes.. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we
can get to work right away."
"Tripod?"
"Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too
big to be held in the hand very long."
Mrs. Smith fainted
Finally!
Yesterday, I went to Cebu Normal University (CNU) and I thought it was a good day to take a walk since it was cloudy. I took the road in Sto. Rosario and I realized that it could only take 20- minute walk going to the University than taking a Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) or a taxi which would take about an hour. While I was in front of University of San Carlos I saw some students with their books and they appear to ready for school. Wow, they reminded me of my University years way back 1998-2003. I was always excited to attend my first day of classes...only first day of classes though, then later on plan when not to attend classes if I felt bored. Generally if I like the subject, I would choose to sit in front where I could see every expression of my professor. I could then tell if he knew what he's talking about and if he had the passion in teaching. Reminiscing the past while going on my walk to CNU. I was thinking if I will enroll or not. I went to the enrollment room, and unfortunately it was closed. I thought, perhaps I not meant to study this semester. I tried checking on the graduate school office and there luckily they were still accepting enrollees. Then, I didn't plot my subject yet since I already check a week ago and one of my cognate subjects is not being offered this semester. So, what I did last week was that I wrote a request letter that the subject will be offered. Wow! I was so happy that other students also affixed their signatures on the letter I posted. The subject which is "Pinulunga'ng Sugbuanu'ng Bisaya" is now offered. I could take the two subjects and hopefully take the comprehensive exam this October. Then if I'll pass, I'm going to start writing my thesis next semester. Kind of exciting thing to do??? I don't think so. Just wanted to do something different from what I'm doing everyday at work. Classes will start on Saturday, 16th of August. That means, I have to sleep early after work at 2 am so I could attend my class at 8am...That's goodbye "Prison Break" NASA live coverage and of course to my movie freak friends hehehe.. no more movie6 and alluc...but only on Fridays!

Space Shuttle Atlantis
“The shuttle is delivering a new segment to the starboard side of the International Space Station's backbone, known as the truss. Three spacewalks are planned to install the S3/S4 truss segment, deploy a set of solar arrays and prepare them for operation. STS-117 is the 118th space shuttle flight, the 21st flight to the station, the 28th flight for Atlantis and the first of four flights planned for 2007.” NASA
My Favorite Season
I still love it when it rains. But living in a big city doesn't give me the opportunity to run outside the house and enjoy the raindrops. All I can do is watch the rain and wish I were home. Yes, now when it rains, I become homesick. I wish I were in our home in Zamboanga with my nieces and nephews and we would play in the rain.
Nature always amazes me. I never stop wondering why it rains and why is it that rivers and oceans never run out of water. Yes, Science does its part of explaining things well. The processes such as evaporation, condensation, precipitation, collection well this is how rain forms... the process never stops.. though human and animals never stop using them nature never runs out of supply. I just love it!
Bridge Over Calm Water

Angelita H. Cuevas
Bohol, Lubok River hanging bridge... I was really scared, It was raining and the bridge was really slippery. I imagined myself falling and crocodiles were waiting for me...hehehehe just afraid of heights
February 2007. I went to Bohol with my friend Judith together with her boyfriend Cecil (short for Cecilio). We left Cebu about 6:00 AM and hoping we could catch the first ferry going to Bohol Island. Then, when we arrived at the port we found out that that all 3 ferries going to Bohol were fully booked. We chose supercat since they had 7:00 am trip, but we were chance passenger. Oh no, hundreds of people were waiting at the waiting area. I was really surprised with the people around us. It seemed that there were only few Filipinos around, more than 90% of the people there were foreigners. Most of them were Koreans. I was a bit sleepy since I just came from work on Friday night. We waited for another hour but we were not lucky enough we didnt get a chance to board on Supercat. So we decided to transfer to another ferry boat station. We went to Weezam express and then lined up for the ticket. We got a round trip ticket from Cebu to Bohol then we forgot to ask what time would their trip be, so i went back and asked the man on the ticketing booth. He just snobbed me and said that i had to fall in line again... again? stupidity? We already did for almost an hour and then just for a quick answer about the time he couldn't give me? Was it because they have lots of passengers so they won't entertain us nicely? They were nice and very accommodating with foreigners and even called them ma'am and sir? Wow! is that the way that money can do? just because they appear to be rich they deserve better treatment than us? I was really disappointment with Weezam express staff that I wasn't able to control myself and went directly to the man behind the booth and told asked him if I really needed to fall back in line and waited for another hour just to get an answer about the time... I told him and I didn't to do that and I just want a his answer right there and then. People were looking at me and Judith tried to pull me away. But then before I left the ticket man answered anyway.. and I told that next time, say things right and treat everyone right.
After waiting for another hour, at last we were able to board on Weezam ferry. Wow, it was very cold inside and it was good that my seat was at the side. My eyes felt heavy and no matter how I tried to stay I wake I just couldn't. Judith just woke me up when we were already at Tagbilaran port. Wow! Everything was new. I remember the first time when I visited Bohol last 2005, we just had to walk directly from the boat and there were no buildings. Looking at the place I felt that I was a complete strangers. The port was really busy with lots of tourists. I tried to shake my head and thought that perhaps I was still asleep, but I was fully awake. I heard people speaking English, French, British English, Ame.English, Japanese, Koreans and of course Filipinos. We arrived there about 12noon and since we didn't have our breakfast we were sooooooo hungry. We hired a car and told the driver to drive us to the nearest restaurant. He suggested that we should take the floating restaurant. Okay, that was a good suggestion. Then the floating restaurant was still about 30 minutes away, and it was raining hard. I just thought about the food and didn't have time to see the place we were passing by. Then, when we arrived at the restaurant we were just late for a few minutes and the boat was already full so we had to wait for another boat to come back. Well, we wanted Cecil to have fun so we waited for the boat, but it was already 30 minutes and there was single boat that appeared. So we decided to order some food. The waiter gave the menu and I ordered roasted chicken......hmmmmm delicious...in the waiter came back and said, "no more roasted chicken we only have grilled fish and pork" oh oh and Cecil doesn't like fish. So, again we were not so lucky in that particular restaurant. We moved to another restaurant that offered an "eat all you can" or a buffet style. There we satisfied our hunger and the driver also invited himself. One thing I noticed, everywhere we went to there were always lots of Koreans around... "anio, wae, uma, upa, nanun, kamsamhamnida, ubta.e and their expression ahhhhhhhhh..."etc.... I was just wondering, "Are Koreans slowly invading the Philippines through education?" hmmm what do you think? It seems that almost all of them wanted to study here in the Philippines. Is it study alone or a silent conquer?
Then, we arrived at Chocolate hills and there we spent like 30 minutes just looking at the wonder of nature. There are hundreds of hills beautifully form that they look like cones, it was really an amazing site.
Then on the way back, we passed by on a hanging bridge. It was a long bridge made of bamboo and tied with rusted iron rope. I tried to walk just few meters away just to take a picture, but my knees were already trembling. I was really scared to look down. The water seems so calm. I was thinking that silent water hides something and it was deep so if I would fall then crocodiles would have a meal!
I love the trip and we had fun! thanks to my friend Judith, for inviting me to accompany them. Also to Cecil, wherever he is now I hope that he'll still remember my friend and will do his promise.

"Breakaway"
KELLY CLARSON
Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window
Dreaming of what could be
And if I'd end up happy
I would pray (I would pray)
Trying hard to reach out
But when I tried to speak out
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something felt so wrong here
So I prayed I could break away
[Chorus:]
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Wanna feel the warm breeze
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get onboard a fast train
Travel on a jet plane, far away (I will)
And breakaway
[Chorus]
Buildings with a hundred floors
Swinging around revolving doors
Maybe I don't know where they'll take me but
Gotta keep moving on, moving on
Fly away, breakaway
I'll spread my wings
And I'll learn how to fly
Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye
I gotta take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget the place I come from
I gotta take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway, breakaway, breakaway
"I Could Not Ask For More"
Lying here with you
Listening to the rain
Smiling just to see the smile upon your face
These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
These are the moments I'll remember all my life
I found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
Looking in your eyes
Seeing all I need
Everything you are is everything to me
These are the moments
I know heaven must exist
These are the moments I know all I need is this
I have all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
[Chorus]
I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
Every prayer has been answered
Every dream I have's come true
And right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be
Here with you here with me
These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
These are the moments I'll remember all my life
I've got all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
[Chorus]
I could not ask for more than the love you give me
'Coz it's all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
I could not ask for more
i LOVE you goodBYE
Wish I could be the one
The one who could give you love
The kind of love you really need
Wish I could say to you
That I'll always stay with you
But baby that's not me
You need someone willing to give their heart and soul to you
Promise you forever, baby that's something I can't do
Oh I could say that I'll be all you need
But that would be a lie
I know I'd only hurt you
I know I'd only make you cry
I'm not the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye
I hope someday you can
Find some way to understand I'm only doing this for you
I don't really wanna go
But deep in my heart I know this is the kindest thing to do
You'll find someone who'll be the one that I could never be
Who'll give you something better
Than the love you'll find with me
Oh I could say that I'll be all you need
But that would be a crime
I know I'd only hurt you
I know I'd only make you cry
I'm not the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye
Leaving someone when you love someone
Is the hardest thing to do
When you love someone as much as I love you
Oh I don't wanna leave you
Baby it tears me up inside
But I'll never be the one you're needing
I love you, goodbye
Baby, its never ganna work out
I love you, goodbye

"A Day in the Life"
I should be happy today since I was promoted to be the marketing executive, but I felt that I'm not not fully equipped to be the front liner of the company. Although it's I'm happy that they trust me, but sometimes I believe that finding clients who would like to outsource in Business Process Outsourcing company is just a matter of luck. My previous responsibility was fun though it has lots of reporting to do. Sometimes hard to understand each agent. They have different concerns and needs and I couldn't help them. They always worry on their evaluation which I really don't like. Evaluation is just one of the standards in the company, but it doesn't mean that everything relies on the number. I can always justify the result specially if the campaign is hard. I don't usually blame them for getting low result. Attitude is what matters to me. If I can see that he serious with his job and tries his best then I don't mind the evaluation result. I would miss being with people since as I won't be dealing with them directly. To learn more about my new responsibility I tried to browse at google and this what I found... some terms are still jargons to me... I'm still on the process on getting there. Everyday would be a new day to discover and learn new things.

From: The Princton Review
Paying Your Dues

Professional education is the norm in this occupation, with many marketers attending at least two seminars or lectures a year. Certification is available from a number of professional societies (such as the American Marketing Association and Marketing Executives International), but employers do not require it.
Associated Careers
Marketing executives often are promoted to strategic planning positions. Others take their skills to advertising agencies, demographic research firms, or public relations firms. Many return to school for M.B.A.s. Upon completion of their degrees, many head up marketing departments or move into positions of management. A notable few work for consumer advocacy groups and are vocal participants in the debate over fairness in marketing and advertising.
