A REAL LOVE in Movies

Angelita H. Cuevas

I like watching movies, specially the ones with great and touching stories. I'm glad there are great playwright, directors, editors and the actors. They are a big part in every person who loves entertainment.

If I like a movie I would keep on watching it over and over again. I would tend to memorize some lines and even relate my own experiences to some scenes.

I even watch animated movies, sometime scifi. But most of all I like movies that could make me cry. Actors may not be popular and may not be really good in acting. What I'm after is the story. once the playwright presented a good story then there would no need for good sound effects or cinematography.

I've tried watching several movies, Hollywood and other European films, but so far none of them made me cry, just for this year. When I came across with this Asian movie ( Korean ) I tried watching it since at first it was funny and predictable. I almost didn't finish it when there was a sudden twist and I never expected that I would cry a lot.

I'm just so touched that the love of the man never ceased in spite of the fact that his wife forgot everything about him and just treated him as a complete stranger. I remember when I was the "51st Dates" and "The Notebook". They are also great movies that portray what a "REAL" love should be.

So, if you like watching movies that would make you cry, I suggest that you'll watch this Korean movie entitled, "A Moment to Remember." It has English subtitles and you'll hear them speaking Korean language which is also fun. Enjoy the movie and have some tissue with you :) :)
